Welcome to Boston Bowl Hanover!
Under new ownership, Hanover Bowladrome, now Boston Bowl Hanover, will undergo a major renovation to be complete by Fall 2009. Open throughout the renovation process, the 17,000 square foot candlepin bowling facility located at 58 Rockland Street in Hanover will be upgraded with state-of-the-art technology, such as automatic scoring, a refurbished interior and exterior, new videogames and a larger snack area with an expanded menu. The new family fun center will operate as Boston Bowl Hanover, under the same owners and management as the venerable Boston Bowl on Morrissey Boulevard in Boston, a Phillips Family Hospitality company.
"We look forward to bringing Boston Bowl to Hanover and the South Shore,” said Scituate resident Joe Sammartino, Vice President of Phillips Family Hospitality. “We plan to completely revitalize this property and make it a popular destination for young and old alike."
According to Sammartino, Boston Bowl Hanover will welcome leagues, as well as serve as a popular venue for children’s birthday parties, Cosmic Bowling for teens, and social and corporate events. Their signature freshly made pizza will be a highlight of the new snack bar menu.
Phillips Family Hospitality includes Boston Bowl, the Ramada and Comfort Inn, Phillips Candy House, Freeport Tavern, and Phillips Banquet and Meeting Facility – all in Boston. With long-time roots on the South Shore, family members reside in Scituate, Hingham, Norwell and Cohasset.
